You can build forts, make food, play board games, have some friends over, puzzles, arts and crafts, science experiments, lip sync battles and dance battles, write a letter to someone, read a book, and even clean if you’re that desperate.

Building forts can be so much fun and you can do it with family, friends, or even by yourself! It can keep you active, building forts can improve your imagination, helps focus and patiences, and a lot more to help improve brain function!

You can make so many delicious recipes on a rainy day or even on a normal day! You can bake, cook dinner, make lunch, breakfast, or even just a little snack. There are many different recipes that you can make. Anything from chicken pot pie to some chicken noodle soup. There are so many different things that you can make that can be very simple! Cooking at home is healthier, it can expand your knowledge of foods from around the  world, it can be a money saver, helps with time management skills, avoids food allergies, and helps with food safety.

Playing board games can be so much fun and it has many benefits. It can bring people together, increases brain function, helps set goals and be patient, creates happiness, helps your creativity, you can play almost any board game at any time. There are so many different board games like “The Game of Life,” “Uno,” and “Monopoly” just to name a few.

You can do makeovers, spa days, play board games, build forts, make food, play sports, and even just hang out just to name a few things.

Building puzzles also increases brain function and helps build confidence. They can also just be super fun. You can build puzzles with people or just by yourself. It’s great for when you want alone time or when you want to hang out and have bonding time with someone. It’s a great way to unwind from a busy day.

You can do arts and crafts almost anywhere. They can also be a great way to unwind from a busy day. If you are going to work with paints and markers you want to be careful inside because certain brands can stain furniture. If you just color with pencils or crayons you won’t have much to worry about.

Science experiments can be so much fun too! You can do them inside or outside. For some projects you only need a few household items. You would always want to have permission from an adult before you do an experiment because you can make a big mess if you’re not careful. You can create anything from slime to a balloon rocket! The link #15 is a website that has some really fun experiments that you can create! You can expand your imagination and creativity with a simple experiment!

It can be very meaningful to someone, it can improve your relationships with someone, it can keep your mind sharp, something that you can keep as long as you want, and it can get you off of devices!

Just like art and some other things that we have listed, you can read almost anywhere at any time. It’s good for your brain and your imagination. It’s good to read  but not everyone likes to. You may not have found a genre that you like yet but once you do you could enjoy reading more than you did before.  If you want to find some genres that you might be interested in go to “The Lewis Growl” and the article “Top 10 Books” by Leah Johnson may help you find a good genre to read.

Finally, cleaning can be a good pastime if you are really that desperate. Not many people like cleaning, but some do. Cleaning your room can be fun but you have to find ways that you enjoy it. Listening to music can be fun to listen to while you’re busy. It can be good for creativity but it can be hard to start cleaning. Once you start it is easy to get sidetracked but if you’re just cleaning because you’re bored then getting sidetracked can help your boredom. If you’re cleaning because someone told you to, then getting sidetracked might not be the best thing.

Finding things to get off your phone seems hard but if you think about it then you can find so many things to do! Hopefully you have found some things that seem interesting that you would like to try out!
