Many families love visiting amusement parks and fairs during vacation. Some enjoy like the excitement of riding large thrill rides whilst visiting these parks. Park creators often make many large and adventurous rides that enthuse thrill riders. Would you be willing to test out any of the world’s largest rides? These nerve wracking rides range in size, shape, and dynamics.


  1. Fahrenheit at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA- This huge roller coaster that was opened during May of 2008 lifts riders up 121 feet through many loops. The coaster then dives down a frightening 97 degrees. After the previous drop, thrill seekers experience many large loops and similar drops before reaching the end. This ride will only cost you a very electrifying 85 seconds of your day if you choose to ride.


  1. Colossus at Thorpe Park in Chertsey, Surrey, UK- People who enjoy loops and flips love the Colossus. This ride flips daredevils over many times in many different ways such as the cobra roll, the double corkscrew, the cobra roll, and even the quadruple heart-line roll. This loopy adventure is sure to make riders amazingly dizzy!


  1. The Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags in New England- This giant ride moves 77 miles per hour and drops 221 feet into a tunnel. Thrill seekers go through a long ten seconds with no weight. There are three versions of this attraction, this one being the biggest and most daring of the three. Would you ride it?


4.    Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey-  The Kingda Ka of Six Flags is perfect for people who enjoy huge drops. Riders reach the top of the ride 3.5 seconds into the attraction. This extremely tall coaster drops you an electrifying 456 feet straight down.


  1. The Steel Dragon at Spaland in Japan- This very lengthy steel ride is very popular in Japan. The dragon drops 307 feet while going 95 miles per hour. Unlike most coasters the attraction lasts for four minutes, earning it the title of the world’s longest roller coaster.


  1. The Banshee at Kings Island in Ohio- This very large roller coaster loops around and plunges down 150 feet. This ride is different than most roller coasters. Instead of being seated in a cart you are seated with your legs hanging. Other people ride on the tracks above your head. Fans find it quite different and thrilling.


  1. Full Throttle at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California- Riders are launched around this 160 feet tall, steel loop. The attractions duration is one and a half minutes. Opened back in 2013, the ride used to hold the title for the world’s tallest vertical loop.


  1. Formula Rossa at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi- The shockingly speedy coaster travels 1.3 miles in just a minute and a half. It earned the title of the fastest roller coaster in the world back in 2010. The ride is so intense riders must wear goggles for protection of their eyes.

Now that coaster makers have developed more high tech ways to create rides, someday these roller coasters may seem little.
